The Coding Position Sensor is found on the Clutch of the machine.
The primary function of this sensor is as follows:
Once the bag goes through the initial Proximity Sensor, the Clutch (which holds the Character Holder/Type Holder) will begin its rotation; the Coding Position Sensor will then send a signal to stop the rotation of the Clutch. Without the Coding Position Sensor the Clutch would continue its rotation with no end.
The Coding Position Sensor can be found on Continuous Band Sealer machines which use Hot Roll Coding systems.
