In induction sealing, the inner seal on a cap is heated without making physical contact, and the top of the plastic container is hermetically sealed. Our induction seal liners have 4 or 5 layers that include a metallic layer over thermoplastic. The induction coils cause the metal layer to become hot, which melts the plastic layer, fusing it to the container and creating the airtight seal that protects the product inside. Induction sealers are used by a wide variety of industries, including food products, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
These induction seal liners are available in many different sizes, both with and without tabs. Use them with induction sealing equipment to protect products from moisture and bacterial contamination. Before you place your order, you'll need to know the type of material your container and cap are made from and the exact dimensions of the container's neck and cap. See the chart for the various plastic resin codes that are found on the bottom of bottles.
We have 1-piece and 2-piece induction liners for a wide variety of materials, such as polyethylene terephthalate (PT), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP). The 2-piece liners are backed with a pulp board as its secondary liner. This enables the container to be resealed when closed.
