Induction sealers seal caps equipped with induction liner disks to the top of most non-metallic containers. This lining consists of five layers of material, including one metallic layer over a thermoplastic layer. A ultrahigh frequency vibration causes the metal layer to heat up, which in turn melts the thermoplastic layer of the lining causing it to fuse to the top of the container. This seal is hermetic and impermeable to gases. The Two piece Induction Liner is backed with a pulp board as a secondary liner. Backing allows for a re-seal of container upon closing. This is ideal for products which will not be consumed right after opening.
